Becoming a Board Member

The Board of Directors of Hamilton Health Sciences consists of up to 15 elected and five ex-officio members.

Each year, at its annual meeting, a minimum of four directors are elected to serve a three-year term. Members of the Board of Directors must reflect the breadth, depth and diversity of the community. Equally important is ensuring that nominees bring with them the personal qualities, competencies and skills required to ensure that the Board of Directors meets or exceeds our community's expectations. 

To stand for election on the Board of Directors you must be at least 18 years of age and live and/or conduct business in the Central-South Region of Ontario.
